I only heard about this magazine from being on the Analog website. Subscribed to them for the last few years. If I wanted to switch it up and check out On Spec, so far I have little to no idea what topics, type of SF, or what guides your editors in choosing this story over that. No samples from your anthology to whet the appetite? Notwithstanding, the link to go see back issues is broken (is it me or is it you?)

It’s always a tough question to answer- what “type” of SF do we publish? We have such a diverse team of slush readers and editors that we tend to appeal to many tastes for speculative fiction. The anthology is published by Tyche Books, so we have no control over samples of the stories. All we can say is that it’s a carefully curated collection of editor favourites over several years of our publishing history.
